The Michelin-starred restaurant on the 28th floor of London’s Hilton on Park Lane is one of London’s best dining destinations. Managed by Fred Sirieix, of TV series, First Dates fame, the restaurant’s stand out features are showcased with subtle lighting effects designed by TLS Lighting.

TLS Lighting was brought into the redesign by Peter Shephard from AV design and installation company, Perfect Octave, who wanted the company to create an atmospheric look using LED systems for the London hotel and bar.

Much of the LED redesign focussed around the bar area, with the functional back bar as well as the front benefitting, alongside several architectural columns and a five-metre wide lighting sculpture in an infinity design, positioned to hover above the bar.

To achieve the results Peter and his team were looking for, TLS Lighting specified 200 HP (what does HP mean?) RGBW pixel modules that could be simply integrated into the fixtures and fittings. Controlled with a Chromateq LPSA Slim, the modules switch seamlessly between static and colour sequenced loops.

Alan Reeves, CEO of TLS Lighting, comments, “We are delighted with this stunning installation. Not only was it great to meet Fred and to take in the view from the 28th floor of the London Hotel, but we were

delighted to assist Peter’s vision which has been executed flawlessly by his team.”
